Everyone, from the couple getting married to the distant second cousin-in-law (who just managed to scrape in on the guest list to please your mum) goes to a wedding to enjoy a wonderful day. That day starts with the wedding ceremony, it sets the style and the mood, and the success (or otherwise) of the wedding ceremony has a huge influence on how enjoyable the rest of the day will be.
As a registered celebrant,I am legally authorised to officiate at your wedding. But long before that, I will meet with you, listen to you, offer advice and suggestions where required and work with you so that together we may create the perfect wedding ceremony, one that is uniquely yours.
A professional celebrant can be of enormous help in advising on creative, practical, and legal requirements for your wedding. If done properly, there should be nothing left on the big day for the happy couple to do except enjoy a wonderful wedding and reception. My aim is to provide you with a ceremony that is totally how you would like it to be, while ensuring the whole experience is friendly and relaxed, so that you can have fun and fully enjoy your wedding day.
It’s your day and be it in your backyard, at a function centre, among the vines, on the beach, on top of a bus, on or under the sea, in a vast auditorium or anywhere else as formal, informal or as adventurous as you choose, I will be delighted and honoured to be your wedding celebrant.
I work for a flat fee that includes all meetings, ceremony preparation and delivery and the use of a full P.A. sound system (microphones and music player). There are no travel charges for weddings taking place from Matakana in the north to Auckland Central in the south and out west to Kumeu and Scenic Drive.
If you are living overseas, or outside of Auckland, we can
have all our “meetings” via Skype and e-mails. I have successfully used these
tools for couples living in England, Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA, Melbourne, Adelaide, New South Wales and Brisbane, as well as Central
NZ and the South Island. In some cases, we haven’t met ‘face to face’ until the
wedding rehearsal or even the wedding day itself and yet they have all been
very successful ceremonies and very well received.
Additionally, should you not wish to burden any of your guests with the role, I would be delighted to work with you to provide a totally organised and entertaining MC service at your wedding reception, leaving you to do nothing but enjoy the party.
Please take a moment or two to read (on the next page) what happy couples have said about their weddings.
